I have a very long password to connect to VPN at work so I would like to store it in a client VPN that comes with Ubuntu and Fedora. I go to the client VPN settings > Identity and I put my password there. The first time I launch the client VPN it works fine and I am immediately asked for a Google Authenticator number. After the disconnection when I launch the client VPN for the second time my password is changed to 6 characters(which I am unable to see).

I wonder what could be the problem. Could it be caused by my VPN administrator settings or by the client VPN? I have my connection automatically configured by importing a given to me by my employer client.ovpn file.
