How to tell if a wireless router is simultaneous or selectable dual band ? Reading the promotional literature manufacturers like to tout that their product is dual band but not specify if it is selectable or simultaneous. Just to be clear I am asking how do you determine the router's capabilities before you order / buy and not how you would figure out how a unit in hand can operate.

  • I've seens ones market as dual-band / dual network (meaning: simultaneous). If "dual network" isn't mentioned then probably just selectable. – GabrielaGarcia Nov 12 '18 at 3:16
