I'm on a pretty big level of a nested problem, so sorry if I might be a bit confusing. I need help with the following:

My system is WIndows 8.1 x64. I'm trying to access a 32 bit version of dsa.msc console: C:\Windows\System32\dsa.msc -32. It gives me an error: An attempt was made to access a token that does not exist.

The solutions I found on the net aren't helping. They are all cmd commands:

  • for /f %s in (‘dir /b *.dll’) do regsvr32 /s %s

  • sfc /scannow

  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I actually don't remember sfc /scannow ever helping with any problem I had, but I digress.

I found a topic on Technet in which it's stated that on Win 8 x64 it plainly doesn't work, and it's not that difficult to believe, but still, maybe there is hope out there.

I'm on a work computer, so I have no desire to change OS, or even reinstall the current one.
