HNY. Since updating last week to Feature Windows 10 (1809), my Excel (2016 or 2007, tried both) seems to have issues. VBA code that was running fine no longer works (run-time error '1004') and even Ctrl+F in the VBA editor just disappears when you use it. Just wondering if anyone had any bright ideas. I am running Windows 10 Pro on Dell XPS 8930, cheers.

  • It's hard to know without seeing any code. Is it a consistent error, what is the line causing the error? – BruceWayne Jan 8 at 15:10
  • Hi Bruce, thanks for the prompt reply! Run-time error '1004': Move method of Worksheet class failed. – Berty Jan 8 at 15:13
  • When pressing DEBUG is highlights ThisWorkbook.ActiveSheet.Move – Berty Jan 8 at 15:14
  • It's just a procedure to save a value sheet into our SQL database. – Berty Jan 8 at 15:16
  • but more weirdly no longer being able to search in the VBA editor with Ctrl+F or replace with Ctrl+H would signal something maybe more general is going on? – Berty Jan 8 at 15:17
