I use Win 10 feature: WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). WSL files can be accessed from Windows at the following path C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\CanonicalGroupLimited.UbuntuonWindows_79rhkp1fndgsc\LocalState\rootfs\

I reaized that if I edit (and save) a file in a Windows application (Notepad++) all access right cleared when I start the Ubuntu on Windows next time.

I edited my .bashrc from Notepad++ and I restarted the Linux subsystem then I get the followings printing the file details.

---------- 1 user user 5912 Jan 18 10:19 .bashrc
