I want to write a script in Python to manage SQL Server 2017 installed in my Ubuntu 16.04 machine with the package mssql-server. For that I am trying to install Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server, necessary for the DRIVER description.

I am following the next tutorial:

sudo su
curl https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc | apt-key add -
curl https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/16.04/prod.list > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mssql-release.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo ACCEPT_EULA=Y apt-get install msodbcsql17

for it, but I am getting the following error:

No apport report written because the error message indicates its a followup error from a previous failure. Errors were encountered while processing: avahi-daemon avahi-utils

Any idea why is that happening, and how can I solve it?
