I thought the Linux beta came with Pixelbook was Ubuntu so made some error input in the terminal I can no longer traceback. And now I face dependency error when I try to install R.

Based on what my research, I think this is due to trying to install multiple versions of R using different methods, but I don't know how to fix it giving that I don't have a Linux interface on my pixelbook, just the terminal.I've tried to removing all r-base, r-core dependencies but no avail. Can somebody help?
