This was the issue I was having. This code solves that issue however i'm a complete novice with ahk but I am interested in finding out how each part of this code solved my problem.

I literally have no idea what is happening here. What is the timer with the T1 doing and what is a blind? Why is the keywait 1 millisecond?

$*1::
SetTimer, T1, 30
KeyWait, 1
SetTimer, T1, Off
Send, {Blind}{1 Up}
Return
T1:
IF !GetKeyState("Numpad8","P")
    Send, {Blind}{1 DownR}

  • Have you done any research on this yourself yet? I searched "autohotkey send blind" and came up with several informative results: autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Send.htm Is this code you found and just want to understand, or are you trying to do something in AHK and just want to better understand what is being suggested? – music2myear May 6 at 17:05

    Giving us that information in the body of the question, including the information about what you were trying to solve in the first place, will make this a better question. – music2myear May 6 at 17:47

    It would be better if you summarized your original needs in text. Requiring people to watch a video to understand your question means most people will not look at your question and it has a high chance of being closed. Reading the help section, especially the extensive section on asking questions, may be helpful. – music2myear May 6 at 18:26
