I have an ASUS GT-5300 which doesn't support VLAN 802.1Q support to be able to connect to FTTC NBN. According to Internode, I can connect to the NBN by connecting through VLAN 2 and then do a PPPoE connection from there. So i bought myself a TP-Link TL-SG105E and set it up like the post in SU (How to Ditch CenturyLink Fiber "Modem") and connected the cables as such. But no dice... can't get the router to see the NBN device at all through the WAN port and connect the internet. Any hints?
