I created a cronjob. It shall run every 10 days plus some hour (10 days after the previous Job has finished). I entered to the cronjob admin console "every 243 hours". It seems, that it runs more often. Could that be the case? What is the msximum, and what is done, if a higher value is entered?

  • Can you show an example of the line in your crontab? cron will run a job at a given time, not a certain amount of time since the last job ran, unless the last line of the task sets up the next single instance of the task using something like at – SHawarden May 15 at 22:38
