I have a setup at home, with dual 4k monitors (over display port), and mouse/keyboard/soundsystem connected the ordinary way.

I also have a work laptop Dell XPS 15, that I would like to be able to hook up to my dual 4k monitors. And I would prefer to have to do as little as possible to switch around between the two setups. IE only plug the XPS into a dock of some kind, and then dual monitors, and pheriphals will work with it. It should also not have any negative impact on my gaming/monitor performance.

My graphics card on the desktop pc has 3x Displayport 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0 and one USB-C.

The monitors have USB-C, Displayport and HDMI inputs.

I have looked at Dell docks, but I can't figure out how it can support two pc inputs.

And just using USB-C directly from the XPS to the monitor, leaves me with just 1 monitor.

How can i make this setup easy and effortless?

Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560
Graphics card desktop pc: RTX2080TI
Monitors: 2x LG 27UK850-W
