I have an Asus RT-N66U router.

I want to run a script on my local desktop to alter WAN setting from static IP to dynamic IP.

  • It is pissible to write a script for most devices, but you have neither said what model it is, nor what language/os you want to use. As its a web interface, curl can be used to script a solution - at lesst in Linux - no idea for Windows. – davidgo Jun 10 at 11:32

Does you want to create a script which will alter router's WAN settings from static to dynamic? Where do you want this script to be executed - on the router? – Akina Jun 10 at 11:37
  • Yes, @Akina that what exactly I want to do. I want to run the script file in my local desktop and it should alter WAN setting from static to dynamic. My router is ASUS RT-N66U. – Raghavendra C 2 days ago
