currently I'm trying to get my DVB-S2 Card running. It's an Elgato EyeTv Sat free, which got no Linux drivers. But it seems to be compatible to the DVBSky S860. So I wanted to try the dvbsky driver. Unfortunatly the driver does not include the Elgato VendorId so it is not used. I loded the dvb_usb_dvbsky module via modprobe but there is no new_id file under /sys/bus/usb/drivers/dvb_usb_dvbsky

How can I assign my Bendorf/ProductId to the Driver?
