I've noticed that since the last update to Kubuntu, or sometime thereabouts, my words are underlined as if my laptop was a cell phone. I hate text completion with a passion, since programmers not really for good spellers make. They shouldn't be the ones autocorrecting people who know how to write English.

Is there any way to turn that off completely?

  • Figured it out. At some point, I followed the docker bash completion instructions. I don't know why I thought installing bash completion would be a good idea for something that is supposed to run virtual machines... My bad, folk. – Thwee Abacadabra Alchemist Oct 28 '19 at 3:08
