I have a Win10 computer and usually have the "Documents" link in the start menu pointing to C:\users\john\documents. I have just tried onedrive and I set it up and I noticed that the links automatically started to point to the onedrive folder in C:\users\john\onedrive . This was normal I think.

I now want to stop using onedrive and I have stopped sync and put my documents back in their usual folder. However my links still point to the onedrive folder. I have tried to move the locations in the properties screen but it wont let me .

Is there an easy way to solve this problem?

  • It's not clear if you are talking about exactly. I suspect your talking about your Quick Access links are pointing to a folder that no longer exists. – Ramhound Feb 14 at 17:46
  • That is basically it Ramhound. When I use the properties window for the quick link to try to move the location I get the message "cant move because there is a folder in the same location that cant be redirected." I;m afraid it is confusing me. – John W Brooks Feb 15 at 9:40
