I use a windows keyboard with my mac and the cmd key is mapped to my super/windows key. Using ctrl+v feels more natural in text/code editing compared to super+v. How can I revert to windows key bindings in VS Code?

Installing this extension did the trick.

  • Works great! I didn't need to follow the instructions for Ctrl + Left/Right on MacOS, but maybe other people will need to? I also noticed it breaks PageUp and PageDown in the terminal, when using commands like less or git log. I had to remove workbench.action.terminal.scrollUpPage and workbench.action.terminal.scrollDownPage
