I have I5-440 310Ghz and 12 G RAM. My Speed test on my phone says I have 234 MBPS download available and my computer is downloading 40 Mbps. Is this normal or should I upgrade my processor or ram?

You do understand that MBPS and Mbps are different units right? One is Megabytes per second the other is Megabits per second. Your download speed is not affected by your processor. What Ethernet or WiFI adapter do you have in your system? What are the specifications of those adapters? What WiFI standard is your home network using.
