I am working as root on a server (CentOS) and recently installed Ruby 2.7.0 (by following the steps here). I then did gem install jekyll and gem install bundler and now have jekyll 4.0.0 and bundler 2.1.4. It seems as though I missed steps along the way that would apply these changes to all users (and not just for root). The versions of Ruby, Jekyll, and Bundler did not update for regular users. I'm unsure if I should try to update the paths of all users to use the newly-installed versions, or if I should follow the steps found in the RVM Documentation for multi-user installation. I'm fairly new to having sudo permissions, so any feedback is much appreciated.
