I have just started using Windows again after many years and previously was able to use FN + left/right arrows on a Dell laptop using various versions of Ubuntu to go to the beginning and end of line respectively.

Is it possible to add such a document navigation shortcut using official means, or do I have to go digging into the registry or use something like AutoHotKey (that I am already using for remapping CapsLock)?

'Home' and 'end' buttons do the job. Home - go to beginning of a line, 'end' - takes you to the end. – Sanu_012 Apr 25 at 5:13
  • Telling windows users that you were "forced" is not a good plan to get them to help you. We don't care about your war. – Señor CMasMas Apr 25 at 19:56
