Does this issue occur with other KMS clients?

It's recommended to go to Services on Windows > Found Software Protection (sppsvc), start or restart it to check this issue.

Sometimes, error code "0x80070005" is about insufficient user permission to activate Office. Please ensure you have run Command Prompt as administrator.

Please also make sure the user profile folder is not set as hidden.

  • What other KMS clients are there exactly?

  • Sorry, maybe it is not so clear. "KMS clients" means other computers which connect to the same KMS host to activate Office.
