I have an ASUS TUF gaming laptop. I recently ran windows update, and now I cannot connect to my router. To be sure, my computer sees all the available networks and even knows what their security keys are (if I enter the wrong security key I get an error message) - but if I enter the correct security key it sits there for a second before saying "unable to connect to the network". Now I have tried turning it off and on (the router, the computer, the network adapter) - I have tried uninstalling the network adapter, I have tried manually updating the driver to the latest one available, I have tried editing specific registry files in accordance with online instructions, I have tried yelling, I have tried asking nicely, but my pc won't connect to the wifi network. Any instructions would be greatly appreciated. I do not own an ethernet cable nor do I have the ability to get one.
