I have Windows 11, but the Realtek audio driver say that its signature is invalid. So my internal laptop speakers won't work. How do I fix this?

Windows 11 is still Pre-Release. Report it through the Windows 11 FeedBack Hub.

  • Also, if you just installed Windows 11, you can roll back to Windows 10. Only put Windows 11 on non-production machines.

  • @John The rollback period has expired. Aug 3, 2021 at 15:25
  • Download the driver from the OEM, verify it's signature cert hasn't expired (File Properties → Digital Signatures → Details → View Certificate → Certification Path → then go back and Install Certificate...), and install the signature cert CA and ICA into certmgr.msc, as either the CA/ICA is missing from Cert Store, or the signing cert has expired (if the latter, contact the OEM, however that would be odd for a major OEM)
