I have two monitors:

  • Laptop monitor 1920x1080
  • External monitor 2560x1440 connected with Display Port cable

Output of xrandr:

   720x480 59.94
   640x480 75.00 72.81 59.94 59.93
DP-2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-3 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-4 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

As you can see, xrandr joins the two monitors into one single Screen 0 (4480x1440). I want to have two separate screens: Screen 0 and Screen 1 with the laptop monitor being the first one and the external monitor, the second one. I also want to preserve the ability to drag windows from monitor to monitor.

The wrong 4480x1440 resolutions messes up with Lutris, and the games are only able to see the 4480x1440 but cannot see 2560x1440.
