I have so many services on several folders under /srv on my server, which each of them is up by docker-compose.
All files and folders under /srv/ are owned by root:root with 755 permission.
For several reasons I want to have a backup of my config in a private github reposityory.
What's the best practice for that?
Giving write permission to root group (which my user is part of)?
Making symlinks to the needed files from a folder under my home folder?
