How can you get thread count of running process in windows 7. i have a multi threaded c# application and i want to see active threads of that process while running.

Open Task Manager (for example, by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and go to the Processes tab.

From the menu, select View > Select Columns... and enable Threads.

You can also achieve the same thing with Process Explorer.

Process Explorer has an option to display the total thread count in the status bar. – Richard Oct 17 '11 at 6:25

In Windows 10, you now have to go to "Details" view, then right click on the "Name/PID/Status/etc" bar, then click "Select Columns". – Pikamander2 Jun 19 '16 at 22:40
