Bash colorless on Plesk machine (debian)

Question

Somehow from one day to the other, on my plesk server, the bash/terminal was colorless. A friend of mine managed to get it coming back to life (color, that is) by making some changes to the bash configuration but somehow it does not launch itself.

He basically told me that i could use

/etc/skel/.bashrc 

manually, after logging on.

The question is: how can i make this thing launch in color mode everytime i log in (be it as my user, or as root) ?

Can anyone help?

Try:

echo ". /etc/skel/.bashrc" >> ~/.bashrc

This will trigger to source the file everytime a new (non-login) shell is spawned.
