Shell Shortcuts in Windows OS

Question

to open send to folder in windows 7, we type

shell:sendto

and to open apps folder in windows 8, we type

shell:appsfolder

first of all, i would like to know what is this syntax known as (shell: something)

secondly, if anybody can tell me, please give the complete list of commands similar to this

Well, i guess it's know as the shell: command.

The shell: command can be used to open a special folder directly from the Start, Search menu or from the Run dialog. For example, the command shell:sendto opens the SendTo folder (%userprofile%\sendto) of your user profile. To launch the Documents folder of your user profile, you’d type shell:Personal.
