My Intel 330 SSD is really slow compared to the advertised and most average speeds.

speed results from AS SSD Benchmark

Running Intels SSD drive toolbox I ran their optimization, and according to the system tuner ready boost, DIPM and defragmentation is turned off.

Is there anything I can do to get the speeds up?

Hardware: Mobo: ASRock N68-S3 UCC CPU: AMD Athlon II 640 Yes, the SSD is connected via SATA.

  • @magicandre1981, I added my mobo and CPU in my original question. Those where the only relevant components I could think of. – user269394 Mar 30 '15 at 14:29
  • the motherboard uses an extreme old nVIDIA chipset, maybe this is the cause of the slowness. – magicandre1981 Mar 30 '15 at 17:48
