Change output directory for gPodder
Ubuntu:
Add a line GPODDER_DOWNLOAD_DIR=/new/output/path/ to the file ~/.pam_environment. Relogin Ubuntu to make changes take effect.

GPodder cannot download podcasts for some feeds
Rename your podcast in list by simple rmb -> "Podcast settings", from something non-english to english.
