I can confirm the issue on Supermicro 2029GP-TR with Nvidia A100 GPU.

with a specified temperature limit (T JUNCTION) of 100°C.
Your image of Core Temp shows the same limit.
You shouldn't then have any throttling at 40°C, unless you have changed the
CPU clock or voltage (if you did, better undo it).

We had lightning 2 days ago (electricity going on/off a couple times per minute etc.). And after that my PC started smelling like burnt electrical wire. No smoke is coming off of it.
