I am a recent graduate of Systems Design Engineering at University of Waterloo with a diverse portfolio of technical and inter-personal skills. I am passionate about machine learning, automation, information security, and development practices. I have experience solving inter-disciplinary problems in network equipment manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, software development, academic research, aviation and telecommunications environments.
I have experience in development environments from ideal, greenfield projects with the latest in best practices, to complex, legacy projects with significant technical debt. I believe in minimizing technical debt by keeping documented, test-covered code in source control. I regularly support legacy requirements while maintaining flexibility to support new requirements.
Check out my GitHub profile for examples of open-source software projects I've contributed to. The projects include a calculator for determining hidden costs in car loans (RealCost) to a mediated-reality billiards training system (BilliardBuddy).
