I have been working in the IT Industry for 25 years, having grown from a Software Developer to a Team Leader to a Software Architect and CTO of my own software development company, retaining a passion for technology, agility and innovation every step of the way.

Holding a masters in Computer Science, a Post-Doc/MBA in Audiovisual and Multimedia, as well as Azure Architect and Scrum Master certifications, I am a frequent speaker at local events in technical and non-technical topics, and have co-founded two professional associations - the Portuguese Software Architecture Group - IASA’s Portuguese chapter; and the Portuguese Usability Professional’s Association.

Several years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or CSA Manager, most recently leading the Microsoft AI Ranger team for Europe and Asia and now at Databricks, the leading Data&AI company.
