Roberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering gained in 2008 and his final year dissertation project is related to hydraulic engineering and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). He continued his education by accomplishing a Ph.D. in Geosciences at the University of Lausanne. During his Ph.D. studies, he was also working at the Institute of Earth Sciences (SUPSI) of Lugano. Since January 2012, he's been responsible for the research and development sector in Gter srl spin-off of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Genoa (UNIGE). He has also participated in numerous training GIS seminars organized by Gter and the University (USI, SUPSI, UNIGE).
